Hairstyle for Summer 2018

Another great article from Peter Minkoff

We pay a lot of attention to the things we wear, and it seems that every article that we have opened in our browser has something to do with the latest fashion trends. Hairstyle is, in this case, something like the boy who doesn’t get picked during football practice, even though he’s a star in disguise. That is why we have decided to present to you the hottest hairstyles for guys for the upcoming season. Just like fashion, hairstyle trends are constantly changing, and it’s very important not to fall behind. On the plus side – they are also very fashionable and look cool, so there’s no reason whatsoever not to follow them. Take a look at the top hairdos for spring and summer:

1. Textured Crops

One of the most popular hairstyles for men at the moment is the textured crop, which is basically shorter hair on top combined with faded sides. It’s been popular all over the world for some time now, but it started off in Europe, and eventually gained popularity in the United States of America. A textured crop is definitely one hairstyle that you cannot go wrong with – it’s very user-friendly, as you only need a good matte pomade and wax. You can also go with the French crop and ask for your faded sides to be trimmed with a hair clipper instead of scissors.

2. Quiff

If you happen to have a longer top and faded sides – your hairstyle’s called „a quiff“, and yes, it’s very fashionable and popular. A quiff looks better than any textured crop, especially if it fits your style and beard. Since the biggest problem would be to grow your hair so that you have an ideal one, many people opt for a good hair growth shampoo that will make this hairdo come in as soon as possible. This is something that many people turn to, and if you want to be one of them and rock a quiff, make sure that you devote extra attention to styling it. Again, you will need a good pomade or wax, but not only that – a hair dryer plays a big role in this hairstyle.

3. Angular Fringe

The angular haircut is gaining a lot of popularity right now, and it seems that it’s going to be one of the main hairstyles this summer. You can choose either a messy top or straight fringe – but for both of these, you need to have slightly longer hair. As far as the sides are concerned, you can go with an undercut, or just have faded sides. This hairstyle is great for people who have a quiff and are bored with styling it – this is practically a quiff that’s styled in a different, and much easier, way.

4. Comb over

If you’re not sure whether you prefer a more traditional look or an urban one, then this is the haircut for you – the comb over. The comb over is just like a regular white t-shirt, it can never go out of fashion. It’s extremely versatile, very easy to style and can match practically any fashion style you want. You can choose a low fade or even an undercut on the sides, while keep the top medium-length or even short. It’s up to you since, for this hairdo, there are no rules. Just make sure that you always keep it fresh.

5. The real man bun

Are you a beardsman? Do you pay special attention to your facial hair? If yes, then you definitely need to pick the ideal haircut to go with your beard. One of the most popular hairstyles for beardsmen is the man bun. However, since man buns with an undercut are practically extinct and will definitely not be making a return in 2018, you can think about having a man bun that’s not short on the sides – aka the „genuine“ man bun. If you opt for this one, however, please take good care of your hair – wash it regularly and use good hair products.

This is the time you need to take to focus on your hairstyle instead of fashion trends, and have a hairdo to die for. There is a plethora of options to choose from and you can always talk with your barber and decide together what hairstyle fits best with your personal style. It’s always better to ask a professional!
