About Us

Risu was born in 2015 to meet the needs for best possible beard care products - packed with with natural ingredients and handmade in Finland.

Since then Risu has been a family-owned company. Risu was founded by siblings, Linus & Linda. In 2019 the brand turned a new page in its story when it got new owners who wanted Risu to reach its fullest potential. Nevertheless, the brand has stayed true to its roots - all products are made locally in small batches of the finest materials available, and still with the original recipes. 

Today Risu is one of the leading Finnish natural cosmetics brands for men in Finland. Utilising carefully selected ingredients and mixing them into a wonderful blend, Risu gives a well deserved moment for its customers.

Risu Studio is located in Helsinki, and run by a couple of enthusiasts who share the same passion to create artisanal products with highest quality and craftsmanship: Janina (product management superstar) and Sami (barber-pro, owner and the mastermind behind this all).
